I love how some people insist that everything 'natural' is magically good for us.

Years back, I treated a hot spot with tea tree oil, and temporarily PARALYZED my dog! Did some research, and learned that tea tree oil is a neurotoxin.

Lesson learned - all natural doesn't equal safe.

When I published an article on it, the 'all natural' nutbars almost had kittens about how I was dissing natural products. They're as crazy as the raw religionists are.

I totally agree. The lady of the house gets veto power though, although I have a feeling that Pine Sol is gone for good.

Water fouling is a pretty serious issue in general, especially with products that are concentrated and designed to be potent even when diluted.

The self-same surfactants that would have given Merc the runs had he gotten any of them in his stomach (the essential ingredient in all cleaners) would instantly kill any fish and other aquatic life it came in contact with.

If you hate the smell and it's bad for your dog, why not use something else? Something natural and edible like vinegar and lemon cleans as well as any other floor cleaner and it's perfectly safe for curious pets (and everyone else). You're right about so-called 'natural' products, most aren't very natural at all anyway.
