feel like the system let me down.
I bought a puppy from Ms. Kapsa.
Prior to my sending payment, I called the Billings Humane Society and the Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter. There were two phone numbers, I called.
There was no answer at the humane society. But, a woman answered Yellowstone. She said things that insinuated jealousy and vindictiveness, but that Ms Kapsa was fine. Could have been her lawyer I was talking to.
I ordered the puppy. It was shipped to me.
He was scared of everything. Wild eyed and appeared to be in shock.
My wife and I attributed it to the flight having traumatized him. After 3 weeks of personal care, he is coming around. He is one of the pretty sable and white pups shown on her web site.
I would not take anything for him. I try to look at it as,"We saved a puppy from this hellish looking place".
I will have to say, none of these dogs look malnurished or mistreated. Just too, too many for one person to care for, correctly.
The puppy we received was a little shaggy and his hair matted, and had a bad odor.
A good bath and a little gooming and he is as pretty as his picture.
Growing, gaining weight and spoiled rotten.
Thank You
